We collect what we need to send you a parcel and nothing that we don’t. Last updated 4 October 2026.
What we collect
- When you reserve a pre-order: your name, email, phone number, city, PIN code and the pieces you want, plus your gift note if you write one. We use these to write to you when your pieces are ready. We ask for your delivery address only then.
- When you pay: nothing is charged when you reserve. When payment opens, it is handled by our payment partner on their secure page. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- When you browse: your shortlist is saved in your own browser’s storage so it is still there when you come back. It never leaves your device unless you submit a reservation.
- When you write to us: your email and whatever you tell us, so we can reply.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent your details. We don’t add you to a mailing list without asking. We don’t run advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics and PostHog to measure visits, which pieces people look at and whether reservations succeed. Analytics are on unless you turn them off with the Preferences button in the footer, and they stay off if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Google Analytics may set cookies. PostHog stores a random identifier in your browser, not connected to your name. We never send your name, email, phone or address to either. The same analytics also run on our Gubbi Art Club site, so visits across the two sites count as one visitor.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need it to get your order to you: our payment partner (to take payment, later), our courier (name, phone and address, to deliver, later), our email provider Resend (to send your confirmation) and Cloudflare (which hosts the site and stores reservation records). Each is bound to use it only for that.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, currently eight years. Everything else is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. This policy follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
